LITTLE SHEPHERDS DAY CARE AND |
||
THE CURRICULUM Little Shepherds is a Christian Pre-School, and therefore we strive to centre our teaching around Christ as far as possible. Each day the children have devotions, either as a whole or in the age groups. During this time the emphasis is on praising and worshipping the Lord, as well as teachings concerning prayer, faith, healing, etc. The curriculum for Pre-primary Schools, has been incorporated with what management experienced as the essential knowledge a child should have in order to be successfully prepared for Primary School. The general group method, followed by most Pre-Primary Schools, has been adopted. The daily discussions are enhanced by creative activities. The children also have enough time of free play indoors as well as outdoors, in order to develop gross motor as well as fine motor skills. |
